Proof that Tony Stark has a heart

It's no secret that I am a big fan of Iron Man. If it was, it's not anymore. I've always loved the arc reactor and wanted to build one. I've 3d modeled a couple versions and printed out parts only to abandon it. As much as I love 3d printing, it just isn't suited for tiny, intricate details. I found this kit online super cheap (like $12 cheap!). So at least I still got the pleasure of putting it all together myself. It's all metal and acrylic and am super happy with the quality of it.

The base and stand is all me though. I 3D modeled it in Fusion360 and printed it out on my Prusa i3. With a bit of rub-n-buff, it passes as metal up close.
